Quintana Heathman
Quintana Heathman is a PhD candidate in the University of Pennsylvania’s Department of Art History, advised by Dr. Julie Nelson Davis. Her research focuses on the print culture of Edo-period Japan. Quintana received a BA in Art History with a minor in Japanese Language and Literature from Boston University, and an MA in Art History, where she was a recipient of the Luce Foundation Fellowship, also from Boston University. She was a two-year MEXT (Monbukagakushō) fellow at Gakushūin University, Tokyo under Dr. Kobayashi Tadashi. Quintana has worked in Asian curatorial departments at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, the Rhode Island School of Design Museum, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. She is currently the Fellow in Japanese Art at the Harvard Art Museums.
