ExPloring Sites in Japan, the United States, and Beyond
Petya Andreeva is a second-year PhD student at the East Asian Languages and Civilizations Department at the University of Pennsylvania studying East Asian art and archeology. She received her BA from Colby College in 2013 where she majored in East Asian Studies. Her research interests revolve around the cultural exchange between China and Central Asia during the Mongol invasion, as well as Edo period material culture and Muromachi period landscape in Japan. She has worked at the University of Hong Kong Museum where she was involved in two large exhibition projects sponsored by the Consul General of Japan.
